Services
Three disciplines. One point of coordination.
Each engagement is scoped in writing before work begins. Fees are agreed per engagement following an initial discovery conversation — we do not publish standard pricing, as scope varies with jurisdictional and structural complexity.
01 — Project Engagement
Banking & KYC Coordination
For individuals, families and companies forming, opening or restructuring banking relationships across one or more jurisdictions. For many clients, the engagement begins with company formation — Valorem manages the process from initial structuring through to banking readiness, account opening and, where the relationship continues, long-term Private Office administration.
Includes
- Company formation coordination — acting as the client's single point of contact throughout; managing communication with lawyers, accountants and registered agents; and preparing the newly formed entity for banking readiness and account opening
- Bank account opening support and document coordination
- Preparation of Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds (SOF) documentation
- AML/KYC file preparation and review ahead of submission
- Coordination across multiple banks or jurisdictions, sequenced as one project
Valorem manages the overall engagement on the client's behalf. For company formation, specialist legal, accounting and registration work is carried out by the appropriate licensed professionals. For banking, the decision to open an account rests solely with the bank — approval is not guaranteed, and no fee is contingent on it.
02 — Ongoing Retainer
Family Office Administration
For families and individuals who need continuous coordination across banks, lawyers and accountants once relationships are established.
Includes
- Ongoing coordination of banking, legal and accounting relationships
- Wealth administration — documentation and structured reporting across all entities and relationships
- Corporate coordination across multi-entity structures
- Document management with defined retention and access controls
- Scheduled reporting and renewal review
Structured across three tiers — Essential, Family and Complex — scaled to the number of entities, jurisdictions and advisors involved. For clients who established their structure through Valorem, the administration mandate provides continuity across the same relationships and professionals. Tier detail is shared during scoping.
03 — Advisory Layer
Regulatory & Compliance Advisory
Ad-hoc guidance on AML/CFT and regulatory questions that arise across your structures — introduced once a need exists, not sold as a fixed package.
Includes
- AML/CFT regulatory guidance, scoped to the specific question
- Hourly engagement, or included as a defined allowance within a Family Office Administration retainer
- Coordination with external legal counsel for matters requiring a formal legal opinion
This is regulatory and compliance guidance only. It is not investment advice, and any matter requiring a legal opinion is referred to qualified external counsel.
Scope of Service
Coordination and advisory — a defined scope of service.
Valorem provides independent coordination and advisory services. Specialist legal, tax, accounting and other regulated professional work is performed by the appropriate licensed professionals where required. Valorem manages the engagement and coordinates participating professionals on behalf of the client. Asset management, portfolio management, investment advice and brokerage services fall outside the firm's scope — where these are required, appropriately licensed advisors are identified and engaged through the coordination process.
